Talmai Morgan qualified as a Barrister in 1976. He moved to Guernsey in 1988 where he worked for Barings and then for the Bank of Bermuda as Managing Director of Bermuda Trust (Guernsey) Limited. From January 1999 to June 2004, he was Director of Fiduciary Services and Enforcement at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (Guernsey’s financial services regulatory agency).

Whilst a regulator, he was involved in Working Groups of the Financial Action Task Force and the Offshore Group of Banking Supervisors. From July 2004 to May 2005, he was Chief Executive of Guernsey Finance which is the official body for the promotion of the Guernsey finance industry. Talmai is a non executive director of a number of investment companies. He is Chairman of three publicly listed companies and a director of a further five such companies.

Fatma Turkkan Wille has a long and distinguished career as a senior specialist in Pre Columbian Art at both Christie’s and Sotheby’s. She joined Christie’s Paris in 2003 and moved to the New York office in 2006. Fatma’s responsibilities included the appraisal and cataloguing of Pre Columbian Art for both annual auctions and qualified appraisals.

Before joining Christie’s, Fatma was the Director of the Pre Columbian Art department at Sotheby’s Zurich from 1987 until 2001. Overall, she has more than 25 years experience in the field of Pre Columbian Art.

Both the Barbier Mueller Museum in Geneva and the Chateau Mouton Museum of Wine in Art have benefited from Fatma’s experience in research and writing catalogue essays.
Fatma earned a B.A. degree in Ancient Art and Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. degree in Ancient Archaeology from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University.


Johan Gouws

Johan Gouws has a wide range of experience within the Investment Banking and Funds industry. After 11 years in the city of London, with pedigree names such as Credit Suisse Group and Cazenove Private Bank, Johan relocated in 2008 to the Channel Islands to concentrate on alternative asset investment.

As a certified investment manager, he currently brings his expertise to Kleinwort Benson in Guernsey and Jersey. Originally a student at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa), Johan also holds an MBA at Bordeaux Management School (a Grande École in Bordeaux, France). With Michel Rolland as his mentor, Johan’s thesis focused on investment in alternative assets.
