Bernard founded Emotional Assets Management & Research Ltd. in 2008 with a view to establishing Emotional Assets as a viable and mainstream asset class. Bernard’s financial services career spans almost 30 years, beginning in product development in the Insurance Sector in Dublin before moving into Institutional Fund Management in the mid-1980s with County Natwest Investment Management in London. At County Natwest, he rose to become head of the North American Equity desk.
In 1996, he joined Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC to establish and lead their Fund Management and Wealth Management training practice. In 1999, he established his own training consultancy, WealthMatrix, where he continues to work with some of the leading fund managers and wealth managers around the world.
He is recognised internationally as a leading speaker and trainer on a range of investment subjects from asset allocation to investing in art.
Bernard has BA and MA degrees in Economics from University College, Dublin and an MBA. degree in Finance from City University Business School in London.

Mr. Tawfik is co-founder of EAMR and was most recently Head of Private Wealth Management and Senior Investment Manager for Deutsche Bank in Saudi Arabia. There he managed a team of Senior Relationship Managers and Senior Product Managers. Mr. Tawfik created portfolios for ultra high net worth clients by providing investment solutions and advisory services across different investment products.
From 2000 to 2007 Mr. Tawfik worked as a Family Investment Manager for Abdulrahman Al-Rashid, (ARTAR) trading in foreign exchange, equities, options, IPOs, private placements, bonds, portfolio management and cash management services as well as the development of the Family Office.
Prior to this, Mr. Tawfik worked in the International Equities Brokerage Department for the Private and Investment Banking Group of Al-Bank Al-Saudi Al-Fransi. There his responsibilities included developing and marketing of the European Markets, and also dealing with the US and Asian Markets.
In 1996 and 1997 Mr. Tawfik worked as Assistant Dealer with Al-Bank Al-Saudi Al-Fransi.Previous to that role Mr. Tawfik worked on the Corporate Treasury Desk.
Mr. Tawfik holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Financial Management from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Kerry Miles is responsible for all operational aspects of Emotional Assets Management & Research. Kerry joined EAMR from Bank of New York Mellon where she was Vice President in the Wealth Management/Family Office Services division and was instrumental in establishing BNY Mellon’s Family Office practice in London.
Previously Kerry worked as a Client Executive in the Institutional division of Putnam Investments and began her career at Citibank where she worked as a Business Development Manager in the exchange traded futures area.
Kerry has a BSc in Finance and Economics from Syracuse University, an MBA from Babson College and an MA in the History of Art from the University of London.

Katheryn Campbell is Head of Fine Art Wealth Advisory Services at Emotional Assets Management & Research. Melding fine art and finance, Katheryn is unique to art and financial advisory services as a leading specialist with extensive experience advising private clients in art collection management, art markets, art banking and art investment.
Ms. Campbell comes to EAMR directly from Sotheby’s Institute of Art where she recently completed a Master’s degree in Art Business specialising in global art market analysis and valuation, art investment and art collateralisation. Previous to Sotheby’s, Katheryn was at Smith Barney servicing art collectors who wished to leverage or sell their art for estate, investment or tax purposes. While Katheryn earned an additional Master’s of Sciences degree in Personal Financial Planning, she worked at E*TRADE studying alternative asset investment including hedge funds.
Katheryn is a specialist in modern and contemporary art having written a Master’s dissertation on Francis Bacon for her Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Southern California. Katheryn’s undergraduate degree was also in Art History with strong emphasis on business administration. She has privately advised art collectors in the management, collateralization and museum placement of their collections, some with historical and international significance. Katheryn has extensive experience curating, archiving and lecturing on fine art, photography and antiquities.
